The Itinerary
A few things
to note
We will be infinitely grateful and excited if you can make it to any portion of the trip, even if that means just the wedding day.
To ease the logistical work for everyone, we've partnered with a trip planner for Part 2, the Patagonia adventure. We recommend working with her.
Prices are estimates (unless otherwise noted) and Argentina's economy is famously tumultuous, so prices are likely to increase or decrease.
Part 1: Wedding in Buenos Aires
October 23rd, Thursday
-
Arrive in Buenos Aires. We recommend arriving by the 23rd to have at least a few days to explore the city before the wedding.
-
Most people will fly into EZE, Buenos Aires' primary international airport. However, AEP is also an option if you are flying in regionally and it's much closer to the city center (20 minutes by uber/taxi).
-
We have an FAQ with potential flight routes.
-

-
We also recommend staying in Palermo, the young/hip part of the city. Many of us are staying in the Duque Boutique Hotel but it's fully booked. An aternate option is Krista Boutique Hotel and there are many affordable Airbnbs and other hotel options close by. Please ask us if you have questions about a particular hotel or location.
-
Meet for appetizers and drinks (location TBD).

October 24th, Friday
-
We recommend making this your second night in Palermo.
-
Explore the city! There are so many beautiful places to go and eat in Buenos Aires. We will share a comprehensive list but you can see photos of the city below.
-
"Rehearsal dinner" (everyone is invited!) location TBD but it will likely be in Palermo. Join us for any amount of time. We will pay for appetizers and some drinks. You can purchase additional items.
October 25th, Saturday
(NEW - Hotel Recommendations)
-
The wedding venue - Palacio Paz - is in a different neighborhood called Retiro. We recommend staying closer to the venue from 10/25 to 10/27. Here are some options:
-
Palacio Paz Hotel: this is a minimal boutique hotel conveniently located right at the venue. Cost for two nights with breakfast included is about $220 on Booking.com.
-
Casa Lucia: located a 7 minute walk from the venue. This is the more upscale option and we will be staying here from 10/25 to 10/27, mostly for the vibes and photos. If you are interested in staying here please search for the hotel on your phone. Right now, mobile-only pricing is $488 for 10/25 to 10/27 and the cost on a computer is $700+.
-
If you have Marriott or Hilton points, there are a few options nearby:
-
Buenos Aires Marriott - 15 minute walk to the venue.
-
Double Tree by Hilton Buenos Aires: 8 minute walk to the venue.
-
-
-
Argentinian weddings start late, have many stages, and a lot of food so save your energy and come hungry :)
-
The wedding begins at 6:00 PM in the courtyard at Palacio Paz.
-
Wedding day details here.
