Date, Time, & Location
25th of October 2025, 6:00 pm – 26th of October 2025, 3:00 am

PALACIO PAZ
Buenos Aires, Av. Sta. Fe 750, C1059 Cdad. Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina

From 10/23 - 10/25 we recommend staying in Palermo. Many of us are staying in the Duque Boutique Hotel but it's fully booked. An aternate option is Krista Boutique Hotel and there are many affordable Airbnbs and other hotel options close by. Please ask us if you have questions about a particular hotel or location.
For 10/25 to 10/27 we recommend staying closer to the venue (Palacio Paz) which is located in the Retiro neighborhood. Here are some options:
Palacio Paz Hotel: this is a minimal boutique hotel conveniently located right at the venue. Cost for two nights with breakfast included is about $220 on Booking.com.
Casa Lucia: located a 7 minute walk from the venue. This is the more upscale option and we will be staying here from 10/25 to 10/27, mostly for the vibes and photos. If you are interested in staying here please search for the hotel on your phone. Right now, mobile-only pricing is $488 for 10/25 to 10/27 whereas the cost on a desktop is $700+.
If you have Marriott or Hilton points, there are a few options nearby:
Buenos Aires Marriott - 15 minute walk to the venue.
Double Tree by Hilton Buenos Aires: 8 minute walk to the venue.
If you prefer to continue staying in Palermo or a different neighborhood from 10/25 to 10/27, you can take a taxi to the wedding venue (usually 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the location).
Airbnb is also an option and there are many available in good locations at affordable prices.
Buenos Aires is famous for its quality meats, especially asados and parrilladas. You can also enjoy empanadas, Argentine-style pizzas and pastas, a legacy of Italian immigration. Don't forget to try dulce de leche (Suggested brands: VacalÃn and Havanna) and medialunas (CORCHIO Resto recommended by the New York Times).
Also, traditional taverns are an emblem of the city. Places like La Cátedra Restaurant, El Obrero, El Puentecito, Los Galgos, El Globo, Miramar, Bodegón Devoto, Motin del Bajo, Bodegón Parque, Bodegón Nuñez.
Take a look at some of the classic dishes from Buenos Aires.
Cafes in Buenos Aires are very popular. Here are some of the best: El Briton, ConfiterÃa La Ideal, El Tortoni, La Viela, Café La PoesÃa, Café los Angelitos, Florida Garden, La PoesÃa, El Gato Negro, Café Margot, Los 36 Billares, Las Violetas, Saint Moritz, among others.
From personal experience, Buenos Aires feels very safe. We plan to spend most of our time in two of the nicest and safest neighborhoods in the city: Palermo and Recoleta. We don't expect anyone to venture off into the outskirts of the city. Exercise general caution when going about the city in the same way you would in the United States.
